Guides
These guides explain each website utility in plain language, with examples you can try on a public site such as example.com.
Website Status Checker
Enter a website address to test whether it responds from your browser. This is a useful first check before you blame your own connection, a hosting provider, or a domain setting.
- Enter the full website address, starting with https://.
- Press Check status and wait for the browser result.
- Read the outcome exactly as reported: observed status, opaque response, or failed request.
- If the result is opaque or blocked, open the site directly to confirm.
DNS Lookup Tool
Enter a domain name to see its public DNS records. This helps you check whether a domain points to the right server, whether mail records exist, and whether a verification TXT record has appeared.
- Enter a domain without https://, for example example.com.
- Choose the record type you need.
- Press Look up DNS.
- Read each record, its value, and its TTL.
IP Address Lookup Tool
Enter an IP address to see its public location, network, and provider information, or leave the box empty to look up your own public IP address as seen by the internet.
- Enter an IP address, or leave the box empty for your own IP.
- Press Look up IP.
- Read the country, city, provider, and timezone shown.
- Remember that the location is approximate, not exact.
SSL Certificate Checker (Browser-Limited)
This page explains and tests HTTPS reachability from your browser. Many online checkers claim to show certificate expiry, issuer, and chain details, but a plain browser page cannot read another site's certificate directly. This tool does not invent those details.
- Enter the full https:// address.
- Press Check HTTPS reachability.
- Read the honest outcome: reachable, failed, or blocked.
- For expiry and issuer, open the site and click the browser padlock.
Domain Information Lookup (RDAP + DNS)
Enter a domain to see public registration details from RDAP where available, plus its DNS A records. This helps you check who registered a domain, when it was created, and when it expires, when the registry publishes that data.
- Enter a domain without https://.
- Press Look up domain.
- Read the RDAP events and DNS records that were actually returned.
- If RDAP is unavailable, use the official registry WHOIS page for that domain extension.
HTTP Header Checker (Browser-Limited)
Enter a website address to see the response headers your browser can actually read. This helps developers check content type, caching hints, and security headers that a site chooses to expose to browsers.
- Enter the full website address.
- Press Check headers.
- Read the status and the headers your browser could expose.
- For the full header list, use a server-side tool or curl, as explained on the page.
Favicon Generator Online
Create a favicon for your website without uploading anything. Upload a logo image, or type initials and pick colors, then preview and download the result. The image is processed on your device with canvas, so it never leaves your browser.
- Upload a square logo image, or type initials and pick colors.
- Choose a size.
- Press Preview favicon to see the result.
- Download PNG or ICO and add it to your website.
