Free Website Utilities: DNS, IP, Domain, SSL & Header Checks
UMARIX Website Utilities gives you seven free tools for everyday website checks: website status, DNS lookup, IP lookup, SSL reachability, domain information, HTTP headers, and favicon generation. You do not need an account, a server, or any installation to use them. Open a tool, enter a public domain or URL, and read a result that reports only what your browser actually observed.
Start with a real task. A site owner who hears that a website is down can run the status check, then the DNS lookup to see whether the domain still points to the right server, then the domain information lookup to check registration events. A developer launching a new site can check HTTP headers that the browser can read, confirm DNS records after a move, and generate a favicon from a logo or initials before launch. A student learning how the web works can look up a public IP address, see how DNS maps names to addresses, and learn why some checks are limited in a browser. Each tool page gives steps, examples, and a plain-language explanation of its limits, so you can act on the result with confidence instead of guessing.
The most important limit is browser security. A web page cannot freely read other websites, their certificates, or their full headers. Cross-origin rules, known as CORS, hide most of that data even when the server sends it. That is why this site is careful with its words: an opaque or blocked result is reported as opaque or blocked, not as up or down; a successful HTTPS fetch is reported as reachable, not as a full certificate report with an invented expiry date; and a missing header is reported as not readable here, not as missing from the server. Where a public API can give a real answer, such as DNS-over-HTTPS for DNS records or a public IP API for IP details, the tool uses it and shows the actual response or error.
To get the best results, enter domains without extra paths where a tool asks for a domain, enter full https addresses where a tool asks for a URL, and confirm important findings with a second source: open the site directly, check your hosting panel, or use a server-side tool such as curl for full headers and certificate details. All seven tools are free, work without signup, and keep your checks in your browser wherever the tool design allows it.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use these tools?
No. Every tool on this site works without signup.
Why do some checks show limited results?
Browser security rules limit what a web page can read from other sites. This site reports those limits honestly instead of inventing a complete result.
Can I check a private or internal site?
No. These tools check public domains and URLs reachable from your browser. Internal sites need a check from inside your own network.
Are my lookups stored?
This site does not store your lookup inputs on its own server. Public APIs you query receive the domain or IP you enter for that single request.
