Domain Information Lookup (RDAP + DNS)
Enter a domain to see public registration details from RDAP where available, plus its DNS A records. This helps you check who registered a domain, when it was created, and when it expires, when the registry publishes that data.
How to use
- Enter a domain without https://.
- Press Look up domain.
- Read the RDAP events and DNS records that were actually returned.
- If RDAP is unavailable, use the official registry WHOIS page for that domain extension.
Frequently asked questions
What is RDAP?
RDAP is the modern replacement for WHOIS. It returns structured, public domain registration data from registries and registrars.
Why is registrant information hidden?
Many registrants use privacy protection, and registries redact personal data. This tool only shows what the public RDAP record contains.
Why does RDAP fail for some domains?
Some registries block browser requests or do not publish RDAP for that extension. In that case, use the official registry lookup for that extension.
What if the expiry date is missing?
Not every registry publishes it through RDAP. Check the registrar or registry record directly before relying on an expiry date.
