DNS Lookup Tool
Enter a domain name to see its public DNS records. This helps you check whether a domain points to the right server, whether mail records exist, and whether a verification TXT record has appeared.
Honest limits: Results come from Google's public DNS-over-HTTPS service. Records are cached and can differ by location and timing. Private or internal DNS records are not visible here, and an empty result does not always mean a record does not exist everywhere.
DNS results will appear here.
How to use
- Enter a domain without https://, for example example.com.
- Choose the record type you need.
- Press Look up DNS.
- Read each record, its value, and its TTL.
Frequently asked questions
What is a DNS A record?
An A record maps a domain name to an IPv4 address, telling browsers which server to contact.
What are MX and TXT records for?
MX records direct email for a domain. TXT records often hold verification codes, SPF email rules, and other text values.
Why do I see no record when I just added one?
DNS changes take time to propagate and are cached. Wait, then check again and confirm with your DNS provider.
Can I look up a private internal domain?
No. Only public DNS records reachable through public DNS are shown here.
